WHERE DO THE POETS AND WRITERS HANG OUT?

Where do all the poets and writers go to unwind? Back in the 1990's they had THE MILLENIUM CAFE which was run by an artist named Noe Hinojosa. It was originally located at 1514-B Beech Street near a small park, an ice house, and the downtown area to the south of it over the railroad tracks and across Business 83. THIS was in the huge metropolis of McAllen.

Now where do they hang out? In an alley near the library? At the new Art Center down from the library...to the north of it?

It seemed more fun and magical at the old Millennium.

The lovely complex feels like a museum.
