It has been a week now since our dog, PINKY died. We miss her immensely. She was a true friend and an excellent guard dog. She was buried on the walking trail on the ranch. The spot is perfect because she would have a vantage point from which to guard us. She was fast and quite protective. Were she alive her speed would have gotten her to us in a zip.
She loved taking that trail on our walks. The day before she passed away I remember spotting 3 jack rabbits. JACK RABBITS! Huge conejos!
We will wait a bit before we sign another team member to our crew.
Cactus with thorns adorn her grave. The yellow flowers are in bloom. We had to place the cactus on her resting place to keep the coyotes from exhuming her.
