HAPPY EASTER
HAPPY EASTER!
What do you have planned? I find myself at the office. Our cook-out turkey and brisket was done South Texas Style last night! Overnight and delicious! I got a sneak peek taste for breakfast!
Turkey for breakfast! Following Dad's rule: "If it is on a plate in front of you in the morning on that kitchen table...It is breakfast!"

PINKY: REST IN PEACE
It has been a week now since our dog, PINKY died. We miss her immensely. She was a true friend and an excellent guard dog. She was buried on the walking trail on the ranch. The spot is perfect because she would have a vantage point from which to guard us. She was fast and quite protective. Were she alive her speed would have gotten her to us in a zip.
She loved taking that trail on our walks. The day before she passed away I remember spotting 3 jack rabbits. JACK RABBITS! Huge conejos!
We will wait a bit before we sign another team member to our crew.
Cactus with thorns adorn her grave. The yellow flowers are in bloom. We had to place the cactus on her resting place to keep the coyotes from exhuming her.

ELTON JOHN ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
THE ROCKETMAN was on Saturday Night Live last night marking his second time on the show. The first time was as a musical guest back in the 1980s. Unless WE heard wrong!
