OUR ROAD COFFEE JAM: "MR YELLOW EYES" BY INDOOR FOXES

Keep an ear out for a brilliant Scottish singer-songwriter that goes by the handle of INDOOR FOXES!

Remember how you would hear that sort of thing last century in the Days Of Record Shops?

You'd go there and look up the band or artist and take it from there.

Now you hit the Net.

By any means do check out INDOOR FOXES!

Her songwriting is extraordinary as is her vocals and music.

"Mr. Yellow Eyes" will tickle your ears with it's delightful sound!

Translation: Cool Music from a Cool Artist!

REST IN PEACE KIRK CLARK

WE are sad to hear of the passing of KIRK CLARK at age 76.

The Rio Grande Valley businessman ran a successful Chevrolet dealership in  McAllen, Texas.  A family tradition in the area.

I remember stopping at Sparky's convinience store one night in Sharyland  on my way home from a night class at South Texas Vo-Tech in McAllen, Texas.  I saw Mr. Clark. I recognized him from his TV commercials. I said hello and struck up a small conversation. At the end he said "Take care of that Chevy." I was driving my father's red and white truck.

I was struck by how nice and down to earth he was.  I thought that was cool.

Some business types can be the opposite.

That was in the late 1980s.

I ran into him again at The Monitor newspaper headquarters in the 2015. He was same as in the late 1980s.

I remember learning he was an artist.  I was happy to know that.

May you rest in peace, Mr. Clark.

I took care of that Chevy.
