NICE VIEW. From where I stand Arizona's immigration law is RACIST. THAT is my opinion. I see it this way: Any law that leaves the door open to bigots utilizing racial profiling is a bad piece of "ley" (law) as the locals call it.
When I was in Ireland I would visit London now and then. The Brits heard my Irish accent and kept an eye on me. Profiling. Profiling. Never mind the terms of endearment they uttered my way.
SO I know what it is like to be profiled.
Luckily my writing does not allow anyone to hear my Irish accent.

RIMA FAKIH captured the MISS USA crown last night in Las Vegas! The Dearborn, Michigan Lebanese-American beauty says she could tell she had won by the look on Donald Trump's face!
Rima was born in Lebanon and came to America as a baby.
Already some bloggers are angrily asking why she was allowed to compete since she was born in "another country"!

YERBERIA MEMORIES
WHEN I was growing up I remember ghost stories, tales of black magic, and colorful superstitions.
The curandera. The folk healer. Witch doctor. Medicine man. Pick a name. You could go to a yerberia and find almost any kind of oil, candle, herbal meds. Some herbalist shops(yerberias) even offer tarot card readings and some limpias cleansing of your being. Cleansing of evil.
I pretty much stayed away from such establishments because they have always given me the creeps.
I would venture out there to those limits to purchase a pack of this or that herb for tea if my mother needed one.
Other than that....I would stay AWAY!
