ST. ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC SCHOOL IN HARLINGEN WILL HAVE ITS ANNUAL WALKATHON TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE AND VALUE OF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS. STUDENTS, STAFF, AND PARENTS WILL WALK FROM 9:00 AM TO 9:30 AM. THEY WILL BE RAISING MONEY TO HELP CHILDREN WHO CANNOT AFFORD A CATHOLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION.

THERE WILL BE A PICNIC AFTER THE WALKATHON. THE EVENT ENDS AT NOON.

Barry took it to the police.

THREATS TO 3 RIO HONDO CHURCHES?

I rarely watch the local news on Sunday nights. I get my 60 Minutes fix, watch The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss and top it off with Cold Case. I had enjoyed my Easter Sunday family cook-out.

I was in high spirits. SO...why not watch the local news...just this once on a Sunday.

There was a news item that 3 churches in Rio Hondo had received threatening letters. The police did not release much information.

All threats must be taken seriously.
